The Rhodes Prescription Drug Plan is part of the Medical Benefit Plan. Therefore, all full-time employees who participate in the College’s Medical Benefit Plan are eligible to participate in the Prescription Drug Plan. Eligible employees and retirees may obtain prescription drugs at a negotiated price for themselves and their eligible dependents from any participating pharmacy.
The prescription drug plan is an integral part of the College Health Plan and included in the health plan premium. All employees and dependents covered under the Health Plan can purchase prescription drugs at discounted prices through Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBST) and their partner CVS/Caremark.
The prescription drug plan utilizes a preferred formulary to maximize discounts and promote effective cost-sharing. Please note that the formulary is subject to change. For the most up-to-date information, you may contact BCBST or register for online access.
