Title VI Policy

In compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Rhodes College does not permit discrimination. Title VI prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance. The Office for Civil Rights, U.S. Department of Education, is the applicable agency charged with enforcing Title VI. Inquiries concerning the application of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act should be directed to Chief Human Resources Officer, Claire Shapiro (shapiro@rhodes.edu) or Vice President for Business, Kyle Webb (webb@rhodes.edu). The Coordinator will be available to meet with or talk to students, staff, and faculty regarding issues related to Title VI and this policy.
